Over the years, a distinguished array of first class artists have graced our stage as guests, and we fondly look back on nights with musicians like Tim Edey, Frankie Gavin, Andy Irvine, Sean Keane, Dick Gaughan, John Doyle, Kieran Halpin, Jackie Daly,  Seamus Begley (R.I.P.), Eileen Ivers, Chris O'Neill (R.I.P.), Micho Russell (R.I.P.), Susan McKeown, Gilles Le Bigot, Tony MacMahon (R.I.P.), Mick Hanly, Chris Wood & Andy Cutting, Gino Lupari,  John Campbell (R.I.P.) & Len Graham, Alan Doherty, Alison Moffat, Blackie O'Connell, Paul Wyett, Sean Tyrrell, Tony McManus,  Matt Cranitch, Kevin Crawford, Fintan Vallely, Sally Barker, Benny McCarthy, Greensleeves, Pete Morton, Paul Daly, Gerry (fiddle) O'Connor, Damien Mullane, Paddy Lawless, Joel Andersson, Alan Burke, Brian Flynn, Paddy Keenan, Gerry (banjo)O'Connor, Frank McLynn, Kathryn Tickell & Jez Lowe,  Eleanor McEvoy, Mick McAuley,  John Doyle.  Bands such as Blowzabella, Chanting House, Four Men and A Dog, Vishtèn, The Late Night Band, The Rambling Boys of Pleasure, Altan, The Carrivick Sisters, Le Temps D'Antan, Cardboard Fox,  Show of Hands, Faustus, Clype, Steve Crawford, Quetschendatschi, Daoirí Farrell Trio, Dreibauf, Les Poules á Colin, and DeDanann alternated with nights of storytelling from Len Graham and John Campbell (R.I.P.) while keepers of the tradition Liam Weldon (R.I.P.) and Micho Russell (R.I.P.) shared the club stage with writers, playwrights and actors  Desmond Egan, Terry McDonagh, Ulick O’Connor (R.I.P.) and Chris O’Neill .
 
This is only a short, very incomplete list of the artists/bands who have been our guests.
Today, the Irish Folk Club exclusively invites selected traditional guests to our Monday night gatherings.

Irish Folk Club Munich - the home of good Irish & British Traditional music, song and storytelling.

Wir interessieren uns in erster Linie für akustische Musik der ruhigeren Art (also zum Zuhören, nicht Abrocken) und bevorzugen „tradition bearers“ – also Musiker, die in ihrer eigenen Tradition verwurzelt sind, sie leben, schützen und weiterführen. 
Wenn der letzte Club geschlossen hat und der letzte Künstler von der Bühne abgetreten ist, wirst Du merken, dass man geile Atmosphäre nicht herunterladen kann.
Unterstütze die lokalen Clubs und geh auch zu kleinen und unbekannten Bands und Shows.
